Bagels and Books Fundraiser: Benefiting the RSU Child Development Center, a used book and CD drive will be conducted. The sale will offer used books, CD's, DVD's, and books on tape, plus a variety of bagels with spreads. The funds raised will go to purchasing new educational print media for the Child Development Center.

Students can attend a free breakfast and political conversation with community leaders of the region including RSU President Joe Wiley, the Claremore Mayor, Claremore City Counselors and members of the RSU Student Government. Mock Legislative Session: The RSU Chapter of the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature (O.I.L) and the Dead President's Society will organize and conduce a mock legislative session to provide RSU students with a basic understanding of Oklahoma legislative processes such as parliamentary procedure, authoring legislation, how committees review proposed legislation, debate and passage of bills, joint resolutions, and signing bills into law. A free pizza dinner will attract students to attend. Diversity is a pressing campus issue on our public university campus in rural Oklahoma.
