UMA will be organizing a Day of Action where all of its campuses will do service projects in the community. Also during the month they will be organizing a new student service group that will connect students who want to serve with organizations that need volunteers.

Bowdoin College will explore the issue of living with a disability during their Tales of Wonder Week, which will highlight author Billy Golfus. Other activities will include an art show and a disability awareness coffee house.

Maine Campus Compact Civic Fellows will attend the ME, NH and VT Student Leadership Retreat at the Lake Ossippee Conference Center in Freedom, NH. The retreat will include time for students to share successes and challenges on their campuses and get reenergized for the work ahead.
