Feb 19 - Participate in Michigan Teleconference. When it is over, we'll lead a discussion that brings the topic back to the local level.

Feb 25 (maybe 26th) - Julie is organizing a candidate forum with a "closely monitored" Q&A session to follow. She has invited local, state and regional candidates to participate. After the candidates leave, the team will hold a cafe dialogue around issues raised, voting, political engagement, etc.

Wk Two - A student named Tomoko has joined the team. She is very interested in hunger and homelessness and has worked with NSCAHH to get things going on campus. She is organizing a team to attend the Berkeley student training.

First week in March - Ryan is taking a social movements class and the instructor is very interested in his project with us. She is excited to help and has offered to lead a session with students on how movements work and what they can do to get things going on their campus. From what Ryan has learned so far in class, she talks a lot about the role of using resources to make things happen. He is providing the asset mapping excercise to her in hopes that she will incorporate it. If she doesn't, we will!

March 10-12 - Several team members and CAVE staff members will attend Western Region. RYV team is presenting with UCLA and HSU on the campaign.

March 20 - Town Hall meeting to discuss the campus community divide. They are in the process of contacting the AS Community Affairs Council for co-sponsorship (they have more financial resources). We will bring together faculty, administrators, community partners, and students to discuss the issue. I am going to push for a final report that comes out of this so we can present to administration.
