ABOUT THE RAISE YOUR VOICE CAMPAIGN

The Raise Your Voice Campaign
Hopes to:

• Get Students Talking

• Identify Issues

• Connect Students

• Inspire Action

The Raise Your Voice Campaign is built upon the premise that an essential component of civic engagement is facilitating dialogues in which young people come together to have their voices heard on issues of critical importance to society. Dialogues create free spaces for students to get together and talk honestly about important public issues and learn from each other’s experiences.

Campus Compact is sponsoring student-led, student-focused dialogues about public issues on college and university campuses across the country.

These dialogues are designed not only to get students talking, but also to listen to student voice. To better understand the often-neglected voice of students on service, politics, and civic participation. It is ultimately the goal that these dialogues will then lead to action to strengthen communities and rebuild democracy.
